Photo taken in Sabah, in West Malaysia. I was just walking around the slums of the Kona Kinabalua. (it was painful how this was a mere 1 minute walk from the most expensive and well kept area in the city). I was walking around with a cam when they noticed I was black and holding a camera (On of the photos has this kid just turning around while everyone was playing volley ball and he just yelled out with the top of his lungs" WAZ UP MA BRATHER?! " XD). So i asked if I could join them i na game of football (not that pansy American football, proper football ) and christ they can play well. After we finished the game I asked for a group pic and they were more than happy to oblige. and I then bought them ice cream as thanks

god damn god damn. you are lookign at kids who live in the most filthiest ugliest slums you could possibly imagine. But still, widest grins you'll ever imagine.

The more photos I cycle through of these kids, the more I realize that my desire to fuck off and leave everything and just travel around taking photos of people, honest human people is the strongest and most powerful urge that is running through my veins.
